Fronts acquire Cliff Pu from London for Nathan Dunkley and Priority Selections

The Kingston Frontenacs have acquired forward Cliff Pu from the London Knights for second-year forward Nathan Dunkley, Kingston’s 2nd round selection in 2020, and Windsor’s 3rd round selection in 2019 of the OHL Priority Selection.

“We thank Nathan for his season-and-a-half with the Frontenacs, he will be a great addition to the London Knights,” said General Manager Darren Keily.

Pu, a 6’2”, 192 lbs. Richmond Hill, Ontario native, was the 3rd round draft pick, 69th overall, of the Buffalo Sabres in 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He was selected by the Oshawa Generals in the 1st round, 16th overall, in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection. Pu was a member of the 2016 Memorial Cup-winning London Knights. In 203 regular season games played in the OHL with Oshawa and London, Pu has 67 goals, 104 assists for 171 points. His OHL playoff experience includes 36 games, with 10 goals and 10 assists.

“Cliff is a great fit for the Kingston Frontenacs”, said Keily. “We are thrilled to add him to our team and the championship experience he brings to our group.”

The Kingston Frontenacs face the defending Memorial Cup Champion Windsor Spitfires this Friday at Rogers K-Rock Centre.
