[SIGNING] Frontenacs sign Luke Drewitt and Bryan Laureigh to Standard Player Agreements

Kingston—After the 2017 Training Camp, the Kingston Frontenacs have entered into Standard Player Agreements with forwards Luke Drewitt and Bryan Laureigh. Drewitt, selected in the 5th round, 94th overall at the 2017 OHL Priority Selection, has signed and will play with the London Nationals Jr. B team this season. Laureigh, a free agent from New Jersey, has signed and will join the Frontenacs immediately.

“Luke will continue his development in London but will be a big part of our future,” said Darren Keily, General Manager of the Kingston Frontenacs. “Bryan came in as a free agent and impressed our staff with his hard work at camp. He truly earned his spot and is an exciting addition to our team. We’d like to congratulate both Luke and Bryan, and we’re excited to be a part of their development.

Drewitt, who turns 16 years old in late September, is a 6’00” forward from the London Jr. Knights AAA program who had 21 goals and 22 assists in 33 games in his Midget season in 2016-17.

Laureigh, a 17 year old, 5’11” forward who came to the 2017 Training Camp as a free agent, had 10 goals and 11 assists in his midget year with Shattuck St. Mary’s AAA program.

The Kingston Frontenacs open 2017-18 Regular Season with back-to-back home games at Rogers K-Rock Centre on Friday, September 22 vs. Erie Otters and Saturday, September 23 vs. Mississauga Steelheads. Tickets are on-sale at Rogers K-Rock Centre Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.ca.
