50/50 Rules of Play

50/50 Draws at Kingston Frontenacs home games are regulated through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). As per AGCO rules and regulations, winners have 6 months from the date of the draw to claim their winning prize.


50/50 Rules of Play:

  1. The 50/50 raffle will take place during all Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club home game. 50/50 tickets can be purchased in person by ticket holders at each event or online at
  1. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older. 
  1. Tickets are $20.00 for 60, $10 for 3 and $5 for 1. 
  1. Tickets will be available at various kiosk throughout the building at the Leon’s Centre (1 The Tragically Hip Way, Kingston ON) and online at
  1. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by the Kingston Frontenacs or through our online purchasing system.
  1. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day/game. 
  1. The amount of the 50/50 will be announced prior to announcing the winning number in the 3rd period of play of all home Kingston Frontenacs games.
  1. The winning number will be announced during a stoppage in play in the 3rd period of each Kingston Frontenacs home game and on the Kingston Frontenacs twitter ( page and website (
  1. If the patron with the winning number on their ticket is at the game where the number has been drawn, they may come to the 50/50 table on the 100-level concourse, across from Gate 1. 
  1. If the winner is not in attendance at the game, they can contact for more details on claiming their prize. The ticket may then be brought to the Kingston Frontenacs Office at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. All payments will be made by cheque. 
  1. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for. 
  1. The winner must provide his/her address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet. 
  1. If no winner comes forward, the number will be announced repeatedly over the PA system, and posted on the Kingston Frontenacs Website and social media channels. 
  1. At subsequent events, the number will be posted at each selling station. 
  1. If no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that period, the prize will be provided to Minor Hockey associations.
  1. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: Staff of the Kingston Frontenacs or ticket-sellers for the event. 
  1. The above set of rules will be posted at each event.
