2022-23 Player Spotlight: Mason Vaccari

Mason Vaccari was drafted in the fourth round by the Kingston Frontenacs during the 2021 OHL Priority Selection. The 5’9”, 178 pound goaltender played for the Cobourg Cougars during the 2021-22 season, before joining the Frontenacs as a regular this season. Mason had a strong rookie campaign in the Ontario Hockey League. He finished the season with 11 victories which included his first career OHL win on October 9th, 2022 against the Kitchener Rangers at home and his first career shutout win on October 23rd, 2022 against the Oshawa Generals. During the season, Mason won the OHL Goaltender of the Week (Jan 16-22) and was awarded the OHL Academic Player of the Month for January.
