Frontenacs acquire Owen Outwater from Battalion

The Kingston Frontenacs have completed a trade, acquiring centre Owen Outwater from the North Bay Battalion in exchange for draft picks.

Outwater was selected in the first round (11th overall) by the North Bay Battalion during the 2021 OHL Priority Selection.


The Ottawa, Ontario native played in 64 games for the Battalion during the 2021-22 season. He scored 4 goals and added 8 assists for 12 points in his rookie season. In 9 playoff games, the 6’2” forward scored a goal and collected an assist.

He is a young and talented player with a lot of potential. We believe he can be a centrepiece in our young core group of players moving forward.
