Fronts Paws & Claws: Meet Chloe

Meet this sweet senior citizen, her name is Chloe.

Chloe is a really sweet girl, loves to snuggle and give kisses. She is very well behaved and it seems like she is talking to you when she wants affection. She doesn’t scratch at furniture or damage anything, and she loves her treats after she has had her meds as a reward. Speaking of meds, Chloe has had some bouts of constipation while in the care of the Kingston Humane Society, because of this, she needs to be on a laxative powder, this is the same as RestoraLAX and can be purchased at any store. Chloe also has hyperthyroidism which is an overactive thyroid. She is on a medication called methimazole, she has done wonderfully on this and it is a medication that will need to be continued lifelong, so an established relationship with your veterinarian is a must for this girl. We know adopting a cat with some medical needs isn’t always easy, but this girl is worth it, we promise.

If you think you have room in your heart and in your home for an older feline who deserves all the love in the world, fill out an application online at www.kingstonhumanesociety.ca!
