Nala is a great cat! She is a small bundle of joy. She is friendly over time but is very shy with whomever she meets at first, she just needs some time.
She is very talkative at night and is a girl who likes to be alone most of the time until she gets comfortable in her environment. She is a fan of scratching things but if you get her a scratching post, she will be most happy to use it. She has a good appetite for her foods and is a huge fan of cat naps throughout the day.
Nala had x-rays taken previously at the shelter to address prior bowel concerns due to an adverse reaction to a pain medication post-operatively. Upon review of the x-rays, Nala was noted to have an abnormal right hip. Nala should be kept at a lean weight to prevent injury. Nala’s new family should continue to monitor for signs of lameness and pain and will need to follow up with their regular veterinarian should these signs arise.
