Fronts Paws & Claws: Meet Pimms

Looking for some company to keep you busy and active this summer? Look no further! Our boy Pimms has energy to spare and can’t wait for an active and patient family to provide the consistency and love he has been lacking. He is a typical bouncy shepherd type that loves attention and is eager to please. He is a joy to be around with his goofball attitude but he does require a family that will give him time, patience and structure while he learns to curb his herding instincts and works on basic training. He has a love of food, toys and treats that will help be greatly. A home that is ready to take on training with him is essential as his breed tendencies and endless energy tends to get the best of him and he is still working on resisting the urge to “herd” his human friends by mouthing ankles and behinds. Breed experience is required to provide him with the best chance for success in his new home. Overall, he is a smart, happy, energetic and athletic boy making him an excellent choice for active individuals. He would be best suited to an adult only home and does not enjoy the company of other pets so he is looking for an only pet home to be the center of attention in. He can be quite the talker in a home setting so while he works on the basics, he would not be a good fit in an apartment setting and a house setting with a fenced in yard would be terrific for him!
