Fronts Paws & Claws – Meet Mossa (Adopted)

Meet Mossa,

Mossa is the most loyal, loving and affectionate boy. He LOVES to cuddle and to be close to people he trusts. His recall off leash is absolutely incredible which is good because he doesn’t love walking on his leash sometimes.

Mossa is the smartest dog his foster family has ever met. He picked up on routines and commands within a day or two of being at the foster home. Mossa doesn’t settle well around other animals, they cause him to be quite anxious, for this reason he would do best as the only pet in the home. Mossa struggles with strangers coming into the house and because of this, he should be introduced to new people very slowly in a very calm and neutral setting. Even with slow outdoor introductions he can be very unsettled with others around. Since Mossa can be a bit of a nervous nelly, he will do best in a home with no children under the age of 14. He will need a quiet rural setting where he can just be himself.

Mossa has some medical issues, you can call the Kingston Humane Society (613-546-1291) for more information so that you can be well equipped on how to properly care for this fine old man. With the right owner who has breed experience and a quiet home, Mossa will be the MOST WONDERFUL companion!
