Kingston—The Kingston Frontenacs have acquired goaltender Brendan Bonello from the Saginaw Spirit for a 6th round selection at the 2019 OHL Priority Selection.
Bonello, a 6’2″ 1999-born goaltender from Mississauga, Ontario gives the Frontenacs depth at the goaltending position. Chosen 45th overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, Bonello has played 25 OHL games with the Spirit, including 21 last season.
“We’re excited to have Brendan join the Frontenacs,” said Kingston Frontenacs General Manager, Darren Keily.
The Kingston Frontenacs are in Ottawa Wednesday morning for the 10:30 a.m. School Day Game before returning home to face the Sarnia Sting on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Rogers K-Rock Centre.
