Alumni Interview: Brad Rhiness

We had the opportunity to interview Kingston’s first ever draft pick, Brad Rhiness ahead of our Canadians & Raiders Night on Friday, November 25th at Leon’s Centre.

Brad was selected 11th overall in the 1973 OHA Junior A Priority Selection, he went on to play 186 games for the Kingston Canadians. He recorded an outstanding 243 points in his OHA career. He was selected by the San Diego Mariners with the sixth pick of the WHA Amateur Draft in 1974, leading to a six year professional career following his time in Kingston. His number 10 will forever hang at Leon’s Centre.
